In 2013, we assisted MBI create their first Annual Report (covering their activities throughout 2012).
Health Workforce Australia (HWA) is undertaking the ‘Certification of Simulation Educators and Accreditation of Simulation Programs’ project (the Project) to develop and implement accreditation processes for Australian simulation programs in the healthcare sector, and a certification process for simulation educators working in the healthcare sector.
At the end of 2011, VBIC produced its first annual report. Covering the late 2010 and 2011, the report highlighted the early implementation activities of VBIC. The report was developed with VBIC's attendance at several events in mind, including the 20th meeting of the ISMRM in Melbourne (May 2012).
Raven Consulting Group undertook a project to create a diagnostic tool for use in conjunction with the Department of Health's Attractive Employer Model (AEM) framework. The diagnostic tool was designed as a series of survey items for completion by staff across the health service, in all vocations (i.e. health staff as well as support staff).
In late 2011, Raven Consulting Group identified the opportunity for Monash University to apply for a Department of Health and Ageing grant focused on telehealth.
Ultimately, the success of the VBIC will depend on the ability of each partner organisation to train current and future staff and researchers in the use of the newly acquired biomedical imaging equipment, including correct interpretation of the data generated.
